As you can imagine, Valentine's Day preparation is a long and involved process, that literally requires months of planning.While the fresh designs are put together closer to the actual day of the specified delivery, we are able to pre-make all of our plant gifts. At Dr. Delphinium we love Orchids, Begonias, Maidenhair Fern, and Hydrangea just to name a few.
This is our greenhouse, and the behind the scenes preparation for the big day!

These Phalaenopsis Orchids are almost ready to be put into their vessels. This year, we are pairing orchids with Maidenhair Fern, which gives a more traditional streamlined orchid, a soft lacy texture. By the way, Orchids are great gifts for the men in our lives...;)

Gosh, I miss Dr. Delphinium!!! When we were first married, we lived on Emerson and I loved popping into the shop. Everything was always so beautiful! Finding this blog is making me a little homesick for Dallas! :)
