So, I know that Christmas is over, but I couldn't help but re-live the memories of my favorite Holiday Designs from this past season. These pieces were designed for a precariously thin mantle, in an ultra-mod home. My client was throwing a big Christmas Bash, and we wanted something dramatic and jaw-dropping for over the fireplace. The gorgeous glass vases were provided by the client, and enhanced with frangrant Paperwhites supported by showy Red Dogwood. I personally love the look of the exposed roots, creating a lacy collar around the top of the vase. The red color is pulled through the design with an achoring of bright Cranberries.
The complete look met the challenge of creating something modern, yet botanical in nature.
